Our Backdate exterior mirror set is delivered as a complete conversion kit. In addition to the two mirrors for the driver and passenger side, the kit also includes the corresponding lightweight acrylic glass windows, which are already pre-drilled and ensure an comfortable mounting.
The entire mirror housing is precision and high-quality CNC turned/milled from solid aircraft aluminum. The mirror housings are available with a chrome-plated, nickel-plated, matt chrome-plated or black coated finish. The matt chrome-plated version corresponds in appearance to the other Singer Style Backdate components we offer for the interior, which are clear anodized. Also the black version, which creates a round appearance on the vehicle.
The mirror glass is also made of real glass and offers a significantly larger field of vision than conventional mirror glass due to its panoramic glass. In addition to the electric mirror glass adjustment, the angle of inclination of the mirror housing can be preset vertically and horizontally during installation in order to achieve the ideal viewing angle according to the driver's body size. This Singer Style mirror kit is suitable for all Porsche 911 / 912 / 930 / 964 and 993 models. When ordering, please select the appropriate vehicle type as the windows are different for each model.
In all Porsche 964 models, the mirror can be connected 1:1 to the standard mirror adjustment switch.
For the 911 F and G models (911/912/930), as well as the 993, appropriate wiring must be created to install the original electric adjustment motor of the 964 in your vehicle.
